‘Cold violence’ – a hidden form of elder abuse in New Zealand’s Chinese community

In a news article in The Conversation, Dr. Ágnes Szabó and colleagues report their findings on a poorly understood form of elder abuse known as “cold violence” within the Chinese community in Aotearoa New Zealand. The findings come from their interviews with older Chinese migrants, midlife Chinese migrants caring for older parents and practitioners supporting Chinese migrant families.
